The Orient Express Collection
This collection can rightly be called the most temperamental collection of the Doguma brand. Its bold character is due to its belonging to the Art Deco style that arose in the roaring 1920s. This post-war period noted in the history by euphoric feeling of freedom and the regained opportunity of self-expression is reflected in each item of the Orient Express collection through unusual geometric shapes, bright colour combinations and non-trivial design solutions.
The Art Deco style that became an expression of the spirit of enthusiasm, cheerfulness and optimism, brought its own changes to the presentation of the ideals of feminine beauty. The Garconne figures replaced the feminine "sand-glass", and nudity was no longer considered indecent. Naked shoulders and neck, back and arms were open for a variety of adornments.
The Orient Express collection takes us back to the era of the Charleston, Clara Bow, Louise Brooks and Josephine Baker. It has all the characteristic features of the Art Deco style. Here you find decorative effect of the intricate design, exotic combination of stones and egyptomania that struck Europe in 1922.
The Orient Express collection means straightforward chic, luxury, and even the outrageous; it is an appeal and a desire to amaze, to remind us that every new day is a new reason to shine. Luxurious white diamonds, rubies, emeralds, black onyx and green jade, used in the design, openly support this kind of protest against the routine and boredom.
The jewellery from the Orient Express collection forms a complete image of a modern independent woman who knows a great deal about beautiful things.
