The Bones Collection
The first adornments appeared at the earliest stages of human development. People adorned themselves with teeth of carnivorous animals, horns, shells, pearls, coral, feathers and bones. These materials given to people by nature were not just accessories – they had a special meaning. Their owners believed that such amulets were able to protect them against diseases, instill courage and strength.
For designers of the Doguma brand, visual identity of such materials as bones became an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
The Bones collection continues the theme of the ancient symbols of protection. It presents jewellery that with full confidence can be called modern protective totems.
In the same way that the geometry of the human body is subject to the laws of the Creator, the geometry of this jewellery is subject to the laws of the craftsmen. Rings, earrings and bracelets are made of several fragments, and this makes them mobile. This natural flexibility brings harmony, gives lightness and freedom of movement.
