The Birds of Paradise Collection
This jewellery, magnetic in its beauty, can be considered as material evidence of the existence of paradise. The jewellery tells us about a day in the life of birds of paradise. Sitting serenely on the branches of the trees, they darted off, alarmed by the sudden sound of thunder, leaving a scattering of light feathers. Some of these wonderful feathers reached the ground.
This jewellery, made of gold and inlaid with precious stones, will be a worthy complement to the collection of any lover of beauty. Who else can boast such artefacts? Besides, it is so easy to believe in the legend of their extra-terrestrial origin: only heaven-blessed master craftsmen are able to create such beauty.
Nature, indulging in her own fantasy, turned the birds’ feathers into a kind of canvas which it generously adorned with a rich palette of colours.
The challenge was accepted and Doguma’s master craftsmen, although not surpassing Nature, competed with it, using Nature’s own creative tools. Using gemstones instead of paint, Doguna’s artists painted gold "feathers" with intricate patterns; the blue sapphires are the "drops" of heavenly rain, and the yellow diamonds enrich the jewellery with the warmth of sunlight.
The designers skilfully managed to convey the elegance, gracefulness and lightness of real feathers in their jewellery. It seems that at any moment, with a light waft of wind, these treasures will soar upwards and once again return to Eden.
